These are some cool knives, strong reliable, cheap and they look cool too. There are 9 styles to choose from direct from Boker or one of their distributors. Many of these are less than $50, but these are numbered so they can be collected as well as used. Take a look at our overview of these good blades even though they are not really AK47 Bayonets..

High quality, fast, sharp, and lighter than expected. At first I thought the grips were a light polymer, then realized it is some type of aluminum alloy. DO not pass this one up. I collect switchblades, and this one is just as nice, and in some cases nicer than the high dollar ones from Italy.

I have everyone one of the Kalashnikov knives listed above and it ranks up there with the best. I barely tapped my finger on the blade and started bleeding. The KALB is probably the only one I would not buy because you are dishing out about $375.00 when said and done and the quality is just as good as any other. I believe the difference between KALB is that it may be a limited edition.

The AK-74 series of switchblade knifes are very light, easy to operate and VERY sharp as received from the factory. The opening spring is the round spiral type, as opposed to the bar spring/ leaf spring that is found on some AO (Automatic Opening) knifes. The spring itself is quite strong and if you don't hold onto the knife when opening it via the side mounted button, you'll find yourself picking up the knife from the floor. The overall quality of the knife is very good, with fit and function in the upper part of the rating scale. I would personally give this series an 8.5+ rating. Detail on the blade, screws and other parts are definitely "Boker" quality and you won't be disappointed if you purchase one of these knives. So you don't find yourself on the "wrong side" of the law, you should check your state and local laws on the carrying of AO knives, as some states consider them dangerous weapons and permits must be issued prior to carrying them in public. A word of concern though, when looking to purchase the gray/green model. Some sellers simply copy the description of this particular color of knife from the manufacturer. This is OK, but Boker says this model is "Olive Drab" (OD). Nothing could be farther from the truth. Of all the OD knives I've come across, all the handles are of a lighter gray color. When questioned about this, one seller said it was gray/green in color. Gray is NOT OD in my book, nor does it look even close to what we've all come to expect when the color OD is mentioned. Boker needs to "change" their description of this particular color so buyers will not be "duped" into thinking they are getting a true OD handled knife.

I carry one of these all the time. I'm on my third one. Not because they break, but because I keep getting new colors I have al three switchblades now and I've got my eye on the regular folders now. These are strong well built, dependable and sharp knives..
