Question: We purchased a couple AK-47 style weapons. Both are Romanian, (GP WASR-10) we want to put a blank adapter on them for training, but the muzzle break does not screw off like a normal AK style weapon. Are these pressed on? I do not see any weld marks on the muzzle break. Short of taking a pipe wrench to it, we can not get them off. The muzzle break only has one slot on it to keep it from unscrewing. Any ideas on this? Thanks. |

Answer: Well #1 they are oppisite of the threads we use here, So to loosen them you go clockwise, (like you were tightening here int he US)
If you already knew that and you're correct that it's not welded, then soaking it in WD40 overnight mifght help. Or heating it up
Don't use the front sight post when putting it in a vice or wahtever. It will teist the barrel and it will never shoot straight
I have seem WASRs that had bayonets stuck on them, some that wouldn't let you put on the muzzle break so it could just be on there like a bear..
