Question: I see all of these US PARTS COUNT sheets and I am a little confused, question; Do the upper and lower hand guards on an AK count as 1 part or 2? Do the front and rear trunnions count as 1 or 2 parts? If I use an import barrel and it has a threaded muzzle and a bayonet lug does the barrel count as 1 part or 3? To me a butt stock is a butt stock regardless if it is fixed or folding, do they differ by law? I am bulding a Polish AKM underfolder and so far I ordered a Ewbanks reciever and used rivets to put the trunnions on. I used a Tapco double hook FCG and a US made dark brown pistol grip and a US made gas piston. where do I stand as far as being compliant?

Answer: Do the upper and lower hand guards on an AK count as 1 part or 2?
-- One part, usually both need to be US to make up one US part
Do the front and rear trunnions count as 1 or 2 parts?
-- Just the front trunnion counts as a part
If I use an import barrel and it has a threaded muzzle and a bayonet lug does the barrel count as 1 part or 3?
-- One part the bayo lug isn't a part nor is the threaded part
To me a butt stock is a butt stock regardless if it is fixed or folding, do they differ by law?
-- Same thing according to the law too

- 1 part - US receiver
- 3 parts - Tapco trigger
- 1 part - US pistol grip
